What does it cost to be a member?
Silver memberships are FREE and Gold memberships are $9.99, non -refundable, per year.
What is the difference between “silver” membership and “gold” membership?
Silver Membership: There is no membership fee associated with a Silver Membership. You must join buysellteach as a Silver Member to purchase and/or sell content through buysellteach. Silver Members who SELL content agree to pay Buysellteach a service fee equal to 40% of the selling price of each item sold. The remaining 60% will be distributed to the member-seller in quarterly payments.
Gold Membership: Gold Members pay an annual, non-refundable membership fee of US $9.99 due immediately at sign up and agree to pay Buysellteach a service fee equal to 20% of the selling price of each item sold. The remaining 80% will be distributed to the member-seller in quarterly payments.
What is Create-a-Doc?
What if I want to create a more complex lesson and Create-a-Doc, does not allow me to do so?
If you are having difficulty using the TinyMCE platform, you can always refer to the PowerPoint tutorial that is also very helpful when making a creative lesson.
What are the Standards?
The Common Core State Standards provide a consistent, clear understanding of what students are expected to learn. The standards are designed to be robust and relevant to the real world, reflecting the knowledge and skills that young people need for success in college and in life. Core Standards are available to reference when creating objectives for lessons.

What types of files can be used to upload lessons?
The types of files that can uploaded for lessons are: avi, bmp, bnk, doc, dot, exe, epub, flp, flipchart, gif, htm, html, jpeg, jpg, png, key, mov, mp3, mpeg, notebook, pdf, pps, ppt, ram, rm, rtf, swf, tif, txt, wav, wpd, wmv, xls, zip, knt, mp4, m4a, m4v
The only types of files that can be used for “lesson covers” are: jpeg, jpg, png, gif
What are the size limits of the files?
The size limit to upload lessons is 100mb.
The size limit to upload the cover of your lesson is 10mb.
What if I forget my password or username?
Go to the “login” page and click on “I forgot my password.” Enter your email address to receive the password reset email. If you don't receive an email from Buysellteach, please make sure to check your junk mail folder.
What are Buysellteach Exclusives?
Buysellteach Exclusives are lessons that are created for Buysellteach only and are not available on any other platform or site.

How do I UPGRADE from a SILVER memeber to a GOLD member?
Once you are logged into your account and on your dashboard, scroll down until you see your account information:
1. Click on "About Me"
2. Click on "My Profile"
3. Under Profile Settings click on "Upgrade Account"
4. You will be directed to Paypal to upgrade.
How do Sellers get paid?
Buysellteach automatically deducts the service fee at the time of purchase. Buysellteach distributes the remainder to each member-seller on a quarterly basis: March 31; June 30; September 30; and December 31. Buysellteach shall mail or otherwise deliver the remainder to each seller-member within fifteen (15) days of the last day of the quarter of which that seller-member has sold user content. Members are responsible for paying any state and federal taxes and fees associated with the distribution of the remainder.
How do I receive my downloads?
You receive downloads by going to your “dashboard” page where you can view all sales transactions, purchases- My Purchases, and digital downloads.
How do I cancel my membership or take my content off the site?
Memberships may be canceled at any time. Notify Buysellteach by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your full name and your buysellteach username in the email and the reason for cancellation.
How does a member receive referral points?
Buysellteach rewards members for sharing content with friends via the “Refer to Friend” field on the product screen. When members choose to use this service, the referred friend will be sent an email with a link to the product. After the friend views the product through that link, the referring member will be given one (1) point. Once a member earns sixty (60) points, that member will be rewarded with a $4.00 buysellteach credit that can be used when purchasing products on buysellteach. (You will be given the option to redeem any accrued credits at the time of purchase). This credit is not cash, is non-refundable and non-transferrable and may only be used toward buysellteach purchases.
